Introduction to Neuroscience and the Satir Model in the Sand Tray

  • Behind The Mirror Counselling 2249 West 35th Avenue Vancouver, BC, V6M 1J4 Canada (map)

This course is the basic foundation for all the other courses. In this workshop you will learn how to ask questions in the metaphor of the figurines in the Sand Tray. This method accesses the unconscious memories that are stuck in the body and creating all sorts of unhealthy ways of staying safe.

The training runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm both days. The training will be led by Sheila Johal and Susan Lim (bios on website).

What to bring:

  • Coffee mug and coffee

  • Comfortable clothes

  • Slippers

  • Lunch on both days

  • Healthy snack to share

  • Don't wear makeup (in case there is a tear or two)

  • A willingness to be vulnerable!
